Food for Thought and for Your Family
Family readers give each family a monthly calendar refrigerator magnet
The family records the days they read to their baby each month
The family provides a photo of the calendar magnet marked with the days they read out loud at home. The reader discusses with the mom/caregiver how the reading to the baby went for the month
Families that read at least 20 days in a given month receive a $50 gift card to ALDI
Note: This incentive is capped at $300 per family.
New Family Incentive
As an additional incentive, new BabyRead families receive $40 Ingles gift card after their 3rd in-person reading session within the first two months. Cards can be used for food, gas or at the pharmacy.
Family Referral Incentive
Current and former BabyRead families receive a $50 gift certificate from ALDI after a new family they refer to us meets in person 3 times in the first two months. The new family can be a family member provided they live in a different household. Word of mouth works — and it pays too! Help us spread the word and the joy of reading in Oconee County.
